How To Have The Best Fall Ever

Fall is the perfect time to make all kinds of fun family memories. After reading this article you will know how to have one of the best fall seasons with your children ever.

Go to a farm and pumpkin patch. Find a farm where you can pick pumpkin go on hayrides and see animals. You may even be able to pick apples too. Kids loves these simple activities and nothing screams fall more than pumpkins!

When you are raking the yard, have your kid join you. Let them collect leaves, acorns, whatever they can find. Use what they collect for some crafts. They can make fall-inspired artwork by gluing the leaves to paper or a inexpensive picture frame. You can even do leaf engravings, all you have to do is rub a crayon over a piece of paper with a leaf under it.

Enjoy fall treats. The fall is a great time for so many yummy treats that are only around for a few months ever year. Try to make some of your own treats instead of just buying them in the store. Kids love to help bake. You can find tons of recipes online. Try making pumpkin pie, apple cider, and pumpkin muffins or bread. If you have left over pumpkins or apples from the farm, use them. Knowing beats fresh ingredients.

On a chilly fall evening have a campfire. Cozy around the fire with your kids under a blanket. Make sure the fire isn't near the house and be sure to have all the ingredients for S'mores!

If your child is old enough you can take them for a horse ride or to a haunted house. These really aren't activities for young children or toddlers, but if your child is older they will love it. Also, if you're trying to include your teenager in family activities they would probably enjoy these activities.

The most important thing to do in fall is enjoy the weather. You may love summer, but it is nice to have a break from the humid weather. Put on some jeans, sweatshirts, and go outside. Take walks, play in leaf piles, make memories and take pictures of all the fun family activities.
