Austin Fest event

The air is not exactly crisp in Austin these days, but fall has found its way to Central Texas the same. What is the University of Texas football fever or Halloween decorations on every corner, has an impact on Austin in the fall festivities and fun abound:

Oktoberfest Austin holds its first annual celebration of October 24 at Waterloo Park bring two canned food bank for the capital and enjoy local bands, children's entertainment and an arts and craftsMarket.

This is the 49th year for the annual "Salute to Sausage" celebrates German heritage with food and music. Sausage Festival is held from October 30 to November 8 in Landa Park in New Braunfels. There are all kinds of fair-like attractions at the festival, including rides and live music.

Pumpkin Patch, or at least how they collect and bring pumpkins to sell to the public, rich in Austin. Some of them have even more pumpkins. Elgin Christmas TreeFarm offers a field of pumpkins and hay bale maze. Sweet Berry Farms Marble Falls in a field of pumpkins, hayrides and mazes Hayfield for all ages, along with homemade ice cream and other delicacies.

Halloween can be celebrated throughout the month in Austin. Boo at the Zoo is a unique opportunity for the zoo by flashlight to see on weekends in October. Wear a costume, bring a picnic and a haunted train ride home.

Spend an evening at the Austin Nature and Science Center for aHalloween howl. View the scary side of nature with all kinds of hands-on family fun. More parks and recreational, as a free Halloween Haunted House and Carnival.

It 's the famous, infamous, or perhaps Sixth Street on Halloween, with all kinds of noisy revelers with a lot of fun. Shop for a costume of the famous Lucy in Disguise on South Congress, before the city to enjoy drink specials and live music.

The Mexican American Cultural Center celebrates DiaLos del Muerte with food, music and family fun before November. Come see the wide selection of traditional altars honoring the dead and make your own.

Most outdoor locations are closed for the season, but the cooling time is a pretty good advantage of all the other Austin outdoor entertainment must take offer.
